Pharmacology Graduate Student Travel Award Program Guidelines

  1. Any graduate student who is doing his or her dissertation research in the laboratory of a Dept. of Mol. & Med. Pharmacology (DMMP) faculty member is eligible to apply. It is not necessary that the faculty member's primary appointment be in DMMP. The student may be affiliated with any UCLA degree-granting program (i.e. Pharmacology, Biomedical Physics, MBI, etc.)
  2. The student must be the first author on the meeting abstract and must be the presenting author of a talk or poster.
  3. Each selected student will receive a maximum of $500 per award.
  4. A student can apply more than once per year, but cannot receive more than one award per year.
  5. There is no quota on the number of awards received by a particular laboratory
  6. The selection process will take place twice a year, with application deadlines of March 15th and October 15th.
  7. The student may apply within the 6 months before or after the meeting.
  8. If you qualify for this award, you may proceed to the travel award application.
