Ricardo Ayvar Garduno
Bio:
I obtained my B.S in Biochemistry from UCLA, and for the past six years, I’ve worked in both academic and biotech industry R&D departments. My current research interests revolve around immunotherapy, specifically enhancements and novel construct design of Chimeric Antigen Receptors(CARs). My aim for graduate school is to develop my scientific toolbox, especially multi-omic and bioinformatic approaches in profiling patient samples, to develop more efficacious therapies. Besides science, some of my passions include; rock climbing, salsa(the food and the dance variety), and occasionally running long distances.
