Yi-Te Lee

Bio:

My long-term career goal is to become an independent physician-scientist conducting translational research in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) to improve the clinical outcomes and quality of life of HCC patients. My long-term research objectives are 1) to translate novel biomarker discoveries into clinical practice for early detection of HCC, and 2) to identify and investigate biological signatures associated with poor prognosis of HCC. I will achieve these long-term career goal and research objectives step by step with structured training activities and mentorship during my postdoctoral fellowship.
