Alykhan Premji received his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Duke University. During this time, he studied the role of Ank3 in neural stem cell migration and neurogenesis. Additionally, he completed a fellowship at Duke Neurosurgery designing a CSF filtration system using a fungal meningitis model. He received his M.D at UTHSC and is currently a resident-physician in the Department of General Surgery at UCLA. His interests lie in elucidating the crosstalk between metabolic and signaling pathways within the Pancreatic TME and to translate these findings towards clinically relevant therapeutics.
