The Department of Molecular and Medical Pharmacology provides an opportunity to undergraduate students at UCLA to participate in laboratory research under the direction of Pharmacology faculty mentors. The department’s research interest spans a broad range of studies by integrating biological, physical, engineering and medical sciences to explore mechanisms of disease from a single cell to a whole organism level and to develop new molecular diagnostic technologies and molecular therapeutics. Interested students can search for and read about our faculty research here.

Upon identifying a faculty mentor, undergraduate students can take part in research by enrolling in the UCLA Student Research Programs (SRP) courses.
