Bachelor of Science
Dr. Alifiani Bonita Hartono received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Washington. She completed her doctorate thesis in Dr. Sean Lee’s Lab at Tulane University-School of Medicine in January 2022. She joined Dr. Tanya Stoyanova’s Lab at the Department of Molecular and Medical Pharmacology in July 2022 as a Postdoctoral Scholar and was recently awarded the 2022 Prostate Cancer Research Program Early Investigator Research Award from the Department of Defense. She is a trained molecular and cancer biologist and is interested in developing small molecule inhibitors against Trop2, an established driver for neuroendocrine phenotype in advanced aggressive prostate cancer. When not doing experiments in lab, Bonita loves testing new recipes and exploring local restaurants/food trucks.
