About
Danny is a PhD candidate in the UCLA Center for Iron Disorders studying how iron metabolism influences human health and disease. He received a BA in biochemistry and molecular biology from UC Berkeley where he conducted research in Dr. Jamie Cates RNA biochemistry lab. His work there focused on post-transcriptional regulation of the ferritin light chain and related malignancies of hyperferritinemia.
